Winter In Wisconsin

Winter in Wisconsin has been full of activity for us! We had a tornado touch down 10 miles from us, freezing windchills in the 30-40 below zero range (and had to work for OWLS during those weekends...our eyelashes and nose hair freezing was quite the experience), birthday parties, game nights, sledding, LOTS of snow falling and shoveling out the driveway after each snow, going to watch the ice sculpture carving contest in Lake Geneva, crazy midwest folks icefishing on the frozen over lake...and winter isn't even over yet!

Last Friday (Feb. 8th) we went to the Lion King Boadway show that came to Milwaukee, WI! It was an amazing show with spectacular costumes and music (obviously, we had to buy the soundtrack).

Heidi has been actively subbing in two school districts in the area and enjoying it quite a bit! In addition to subbing, she has also been working on some weekends for OWLS, mostly group leading.

David is almost halfway through his last semester of classes. This summer he will be working full-time for OWLS to complete his intership. He will walk at the graduation ceremony in the beginning of May, but will have to wait for his intership to be completed in August to receive his diploma/degree. He is actively jobsearching, but we won't have any interviews or leads until early or late Spring.

We are looking forward to having some friends and family visit us in our last 6ish months left here in Williams Bay, WI! We are also anxiously awaiting the marriage of our good friends, Karl & Josi, in late June as well as the marriage of Heidi's cousin, Andrea, to Patrick in July! We also have two family reunions in the works for this summer, one for the Andvik side (Heidi's mom's family) in Washington State and the Crawford side (it's Dave's dad's side for Grandma Mimi's Birthday) in Ohio!!!

So, we are seeing so much change and transition in the next year. We ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we keep you all in ours. Let us know if you are going to be coming in our direction, as we would love to see and or hear from you. Take care and God Bless.

~Heidi & David~

PS... don't forget to look at the pictures of the Amazing Ice Sculptures below. The winner was the shark sculpture.
